. . . since I last posted. It's been a very month. Treasures to Scrap has kept its members very busy with a fabulous month of challenges. I have scrapped so much!!! Also there was a Spring Cleaning Crop this past weekend. Over at Transparent Touches & Tags there was a weekend on-line crop. I didn't get any scrapping done, but I did get a good look at their monthly kits and joined on the spot. Awesome!! I also went in search of a embellies monthly kit (did even know if any existed) and came across fabulous monthly embellishment kits put out by Scrapbook Takeout. All I need now is a monthly Bazzill Basics cardstock kit and one for adhesives and I will never have to leave my house again!
On the home front, Amanda is pregnant. That will be my fifth grandbaby in 8 1/2 years. They breed like rabbits, I'm tellin' ya! Am I excited? YES! A baby is a baby is a baby; and we know how much I love my grandbabies!
Today is Secretary's Day. All the staff got a goodie basket from the Firm. My boss got me an Anne Klein watch (I think he was insinuating that I am late everyday (I am); and then I got taken to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Passed on dessert though - shocked, huh? I went to the docs earlier today to see about my swelling ankles and now I have to have some ectocardiogram (sp?). So, I am going to drop the extra pounds and step up the walking program. For sure!
Okay, back to work. Happy Wednesday!

Wonderful holiday! Had the whole family over on Saturday (so I could rest on Sunday). The first guest arrived at 11:00 a.m. and the last left at 7:00 p.m. Long day. But I got some great pics. The night before I roasted the turkey loaves and Kayla baked a cake for Cammi's 5th birthday. The next morning we made the turkey pot pies, cut veggies, made dips, Kayla frosted her cake, and set the table and had everything ready for 12:00 p.m. Family came throughout the day and feasted. Around 2:30, the children colored the eggs. Then we had them make up their own baskets to take home. They had such a good time. I think Happy Feet played three times during the day. Guests were: Mom, Cathy, Melissa, Brian, Michael, Jayme, Amber, Ben, Joey, Tera, Cammi, Jade, Kenny, and of course, Amanda, Kayla and myself.
On Sunday, Kayla awoke to an Easter Egg hunt. We just found the 15th egg last night. Her father stopped by Sunday morning to give her a basket. Kaileen came over to play. I baked a ham and mashed some tators. We had corn, crescent rolls and deviled eggs. Jerry brought Easter bread and joined us for dinner. After dinner they all took a nap and then went to Jerry's
Mom's house (Amanda's first time meeting his family). Once home, Kaileen came over to spend the night.
It was a fabulous weekend! Hope your Holiday was grand, too!
