April Showers – it was sprinkling as I came into the office this morning. Sunday is supposed to be in the low 30’s. UGH! But then again, if that’s the last bit of artic-ness, then okay.
We enter April with a new family member. Meet Finn. Finn is a Chi-weenie, but from the looks of him – mostly weenie. He came home with us yesterday, weighing in at 4.3 lbs. Finn is 3 ½ months, his birthday being December 13, 2015. He and Elliot bonded nicely, with Elliot yelling ‘chase me’ and Finn obliging, round and round the coffee table they went.
Watching: Movies, with Kayla. We’ve watched The Martian, Secret in Their Eyes, Spy, and more. It’s just a cycle we are currently in.
Reading: Speaking of cycles, I’ve really been into reading thrillers. Currently, I am reading Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll. Just finished ‘The Silent Girls,” by Eric Rickstad (WHAT an ending!!!). Also read, “The Girl on the Train,” by Paula Hawkins (LOVED it!); and “The Silent Wife,” by A.S.A Harrison (hmmm, wasn’t a favorite). My 'to read’ list at GoodReads is slowly filling up.
Drinking: Fruition Tropical Fruit, still.
Looking forward to: baby showers and birthdays, preparing the house and grounds for summer.
April events: Cammi’s 14th birthday, Dad’s birthday, Elliot and Dylan’s 3rd birthdays, a new baby nephew joining us on April 15th, warmer weather, spring cleaning, starter plants, getting the yard and porches ready for summer, painting inside, walking more.
What about you? What have you planned for this first full month of Spring?
Joy & Blessings,
"Sweet April showers
Do spring May flowers."
